NO EGGS CHOCOLATE CAKE

an intense chocolate cake with no eggs
(1cup = a bit more than 2dl)
The cake
.1 Mix in a bigger bowl: 1½cup of plain flour, a pinch of salt, 1½tsp of baking soda and 1cup of cocoa powder. 

.2 Mix in a smaller bowl and until well dissolved: 1½cup of demerara sugar, 1½cup of hot water, 80g of vegetable margarine and 1½tsp of cider vinegar. 

.3 Combine the liquids into the dry ingredients.

Oven 180°C for about 20-30min
 (don’t let it get too dry)

The glaze
.1 Heat slowly in a pan: around 150g of chocolate (on the darker side), 2tbsp of water, 1tbsp of demerara sugar and a max.50g of vegetable margarine. (add 1tbsp of pure cocoa powder if you want it stronger in flavor). Let it all melt helping with a spoon.

Let the cake cool down and pour the glaze to cover it. Let the glaze set before serving.
